Our Beliefs
Anchored in God’s Word, Empowered by His Spirit
At RCCG Pavilion of Redemption (POR) Saint John, our beliefs reflect the foundation of our faith, guiding every aspect of our lives and ministry. We are committed to living out these truths with passion and purpose, grounded in the unchanging Word of God
- We Believe in Making Heaven Our Ultimate Goal
Heaven is not just a distant hope—it is the eternal reward for those who walk faithfully with God. We strive to live lives pleasing to Him, seeking His presence daily and preparing our hearts for eternity.
“But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.” (Philippians 3:20)
2. We Believe in Leading Others to Salvation Through Jesus Christ
We are called to live as beacons of light in a world longing for hope, actively working to bring as many souls as possible into God’s kingdom. This is not a task for the faint-hearted, but a divine responsibility fueled by love, compassion, and the urgency of the Great Commission.
“Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.” (Daniel 12:3)
3. We Believe in Unity Across Nations and Families
We envision a global family of faith, with members from every tribe, language, and nation united in Christ. We believe in building bridges of love and reconciliation, ensuring that every family experiences the hope and joy found in Jesus.
“There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:28)
“After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.” (Revelation 7:9)
4. We Believe in Holiness as a Lifestyle
Holiness is the foundation of our faith and the key to fulfilling God’s purpose for our lives. We are called to reflect God’s character in our thoughts, words, and actions, living in obedience to His commands.
“But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: ‘Be holy, because I am holy.’” (1 Peter 1:15-16)
“Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.” (Hebrews 12:14)
5. We Believe in the Transformative Power of Praye
Prayer is our lifeline to God and the foundation of our faith. We believe in the power of fervent, faith-filled prayer to transform lives, change circumstances, and draw us closer to God.
“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” (James 5:16)
“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” (Jeremiah 33:3)
6. We Believe in Serving Others as Christ Served.
We are called to reflect Christ’s love through acts of service, compassion, and generosity. As followers of Jesus, we are committed to addressing the needs of our community and the world around us.
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45)
“Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” (1 John 3:18)

We Believe in the Power of God’s Word
The Bible is the inspired Word of God and the ultimate authority for our lives. It is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path, equipping us to live victoriously and fulfill God’s purpose.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet, a light on my path.” (Psalm 119:105)
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16)
We Believe in the Strength of Fellowship
We are stronger together. Through fellowship, we encourage, uplift, and support one another, growing together as the body of Christ. We are committed to building a family of faith where everyone feels loved and valued.
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another.” (Hebrews 10:24-25)

God has destined us for lives filled with His joy, peace, and purpose. We trust in His plans for us, walking in faith and hope as we pursue the abundant life He has promised.
